My player died starting the second half, and won MVP award for the team. Is this right? Shouldnt the MVP award go to a live player?

Anyone who showed up for the match is eligible (including nigglers who niggle) since he showed and played, he can earn the MVP. It matters not that he didn't survive to enjoy the benefits, they awarded it to him for "dying for the cause" so to speak.

Hmm... I just noticed that the LRB isn't too clear on this point. But how do nigglers (who don't show up) become eligible for MVP? Since they niggled, you never had a chance to set them up on the field and they were never "available to play in the match." I'd think that they are regarded with the same status as a player that misses the game due to a serious injury from the previous game.

The only exception is of course that you can use the apothecary to negate the niggle roll. But what about more than one nigglers, or nigglers on a team with no apothecary?

They were availible for the match since they were not in hospital like the mng guys. Just when it came time to go on the pitch the old joints started playing up.

I killed a player and raised him as a zombie... he then got both mvps!!
