I liked the old format better...after the title bouts will the tourney go back to it's old state?

Also the betting was more fun in the old format.

Last Day.. any team that hasn't played at least 1 game during the tourny period will be booted.

All righty then...

HEAVYWEIGHT
The open period which was supposed to clear things up, did not do so in the heavyweight division. 4 teams are tied with 3 points. As a result, a quick knock out tournament is required. Would the four teams involved please complete the mini-knock out tourny by Jan 06/04.

http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=group&op=view&group=559 for the schedule.

Betting on these games are the same as for championship matches.

Middleweight:
Here we get a clear winner. Indur handily outclassed the pack and his Forevergreen fairies scored a league high 12 points in the tournament round:

The Forevergreen Fairies are your new Middleweight Champions! Congratulations Indur. Evolve to Anarchism's Roaming Rampaging Rapids are the number one contenders.

Middlewight div is on hiatus until Jan 6/04

Lightweights:

Les Poires coached by MorgluM and Famous Mercs coached by Kheldar1982 are the respective winners of their lightweight divisions.

These two teams will play a title match the winner of which becomes the Lightweight Champion.

Please play this match before jan 06/04

Betting on these games are the same as for championship matches.

I'm heading home to visit my parents tomorrow and will be returning Jan 6th, 04. I will be checking in from time to time, but will not be around as much as usual.

Please gamble, please play the required games, and hopefully we can re-energize this tourny in the new year.

Since we've had 0 matches played and 0 bets received in the last two weeks I've decided to kill this tourny.

Thanks to those who participated. Unfortunatly the lack of interest and activity has made this tourny untenable.

Cheers & Good luck in the future

Sorry that this happened. Its hard for players of so different time stamps to get there games through. The rounnd robin was quite good so.

Havent seen yet single tourney survice changin to open round robin.
Its just that much too much effort to try to find out if any of possible opponents are online and its get darn picky too on who plays who on what order.

Too bad that the tourney died, but I think that Christmas killed it as dead as the change in tourney style...

Anyway, thanks for a great tourney Bunnypuncher!
