Why don't you use the little animated Ref icons Nick made for the IGMEOY instead of that big damnable eye? Evil or Very Mad I'd much rather see a little animated Dwarf or somesuch than that thing.

Oh, and indicate if you have the Eye, your opponent does, or NOBODY does (this can be important...)

You can just replace the eye.gif file with anything you want (like the animated ref). Just rename the animated ref to eye.gif and copy it over the existing eye.gif. There you go, now you have the animated ref.

K, but did you consider to show the general status with reagrd to fouling? It might be helpful if you can see, whether you, your opponent or both got the ref and who (or if noone) the referee's got his eye on?
The weather icon is amazingly good Cool , I wished you could see the status of the ref on an analoguously high level.

I know I can just replace the eye pic, I was talking of more of an "on-pitch" ref.

Where exactly would he go on the pitch? As there are no official on pitch ref rules.

I think this is what he really means. Right now, all you can tell is if the eye is on you. What he would like to be able to see, is the complete state of the ref. 1 Eye is on me. 2 Eye is on opponent. 3 Eye is on no-one. I think this is what he meant by on-pitch, the display of the little ref icon. You could have the icon apear on the bottom of the field, next to the team who he is watching, or on the center line if he is watching neither team. Just something that would be a quick, and cool looking indicator of the status.
