I am hereby not telling you to install IRC.

And I am now saying, to noone in particular, that installing IRC if you want to use the BB chat is a nice idea.

Well, to be honest with you I used to think like that.

USED to think like that.

Then Javachat seemed to go down an awful lot. Funny thing is...I have never had a problem with IRC. (And I'm not exactly a techno wizard Wink )

I'll say it again: The java chat is not meant to be used as a primary way of chatting. It's hosted outside of Fumbbl for technical reasons and is a rather crappy client in general. If you decide that you want to chat on a regular basis, you really should install a real IRC client.
