Got an error while trying to upload a game saying my file was corrupt and to try again. No luck the second or third time.

Stats:
Mac OSX 10.1.2 Powerbook
Client 4.8 Beta

Any thoughts?

It may be the fact we have 10.1.X. A friend has 10.2 and has no problems. We got an admin to load the game manually and the file looked fine when I opened it up. I am going to keep trying though.

Hmm... I'm using 10.1.5 here at work and 10.2.3 at home and I've never had this problem (except for one game played with the wrong options checked off). Any chance either of you could stuff a results file and either email it to me luke@witwat.net, or post it somewhere and give us a link here, maybe I can compare it with one of mine.

My first thought is that 10.1.2 is writing the results file with the wrong line breaks. Christer would know better than I, but I think that could screw up the results uploading...

Linebreaks _should_ not be a problem. However, I need copies of the corrupted files to analyze. If you still have them, please mail them to me at christer@fumbbl.com. Make sure you zip them before you send because otherwise they might be broken by various mail servers.

Reinstalled the program and made sure I had all the league mods in there. Just got done playing a game and same result. My friend and eyeballed the file and could not find anything obviously out of wack. I have this latest file I can post or mail if needed.

Buckle,

Received your file and tried to upload. Sorry to say this, but I can't reproduce the bug you're getting. It went through fine on my system.

Maybe you could try running with another browser?

Good call. I was able to upload from my Windows box. The browser I am running is IE v 5.1.4 and I am not seeing updates on Apple's site. I will find a third party browser and give that a try and post the results.

Thanks for the help!

Works on IE 5.2.x, but who wants to use IE, right?

or you can just do a search on http://versiontracker.com.
