The next tournament in Stunty Spinoff Series is called Open Rookie Round. [L] division stunty race teams of TR 120 and lower are free to apply. Open Round Robin. 4 divisions (4 teams each) with knockout style playoffs between the division winners.

Launch: When 16 teams have entered.

How to enter:
1) If your team's not already in Stunty Spinoff Series, apply there
2) Reply to this thread with your participating team's name included
3) Participant slots are given on a "first come, first served" basis (= 16 fastest coaches get the spots).

Sure. You can only apply 1 team per tournament, though. Edit: This has been added to the group rules.

If we don't have enough participants for ORR at the end of the week, I'll lower the # of teams required for launch (to 8?).
Once Open Rookie Round is up & rolling, I'll start promoting a simultaneous Speed tournament for TR 100 teams to get more newcomers into the group.

Wait, my team is still involved in Dawn of Blood...

Fungus Brew Division hasn't finished up yet (despite the deadline being past). I don't think there's any way I can get into the knockout playoffs, since Bribe The Ref! will have at least as many points as my team (S.Q.I.G.), and they beat me in just about every conceivable tiebreaker.

But until Dawn Of Blood: Fungus Brew finishes, S.Q.I.G. is tied up in that tournament. And if they somehow advance to the knockouts, I'd rather stay there than move on to the Open Rookie tournament.

Are the stunty games played in [L] subject to no-Gen access on BG's?

If that's the case then I would like to join too.

EDIT: Sorry, nevermind, just read your tourney page which suggests most stunty BG's still have Gen Access Crying or Very sad

After a lot of confusion, FUMBBL div transfer changes and guesstimations that's how we found out things to work in practise. That's also the biggest reason why I made this tournament thread into the Stunty Leeg section instead of the League section (originally I thought [L] stunties don't have G access-> DoB thread was in League section).

I will launch the tournament as soon as we have 8 teams (= 2 divisions with 4 teams each) signed up & available (=not playing in the Dawn of Blood playoffs). This means that currently 4 spots have been taken with 2 more reserved by playoff teams - if they play semifinals fast, they'll be in.
