although the Claws/RSC route is very tempting I´m thinking of building a rotter team based around tentacles and FA.
So what I´d like to get an opinion on is if its any idea and secondly wich mutation should be the first pick.

Take FA on all your beastmen, take Tentacles on all your Rotters. Easy. Smile

Its a great idea to build a team that is not all out to kill and maim. Its a challengening team to play against with a passing/running team and I sure woulndt min pitting skavens and such against a team with that build.

But for the rotters the choice is not that hard since they all carry FA from the start Wink

But, for the beastmen? Id go with FA on them for starters. Tentacles isnt that awesome on STR 3 players, unless you play against team from Stunty that is =) Hmm well, as always, a mix of both is the best. Get even a STR 3 beastman with tentacles next to a gutter runner and things are interessting, so most go for FA, and a few tentacles. But, its hard to design a team on mutations, when you got a plan and know what you want you sure are bound to never roll those previous doubles :/

That's a terrible Idea! Make a Claw/Rsc/MB/DP team and enjoy the fun!

Well my FA/Block/Guard/Tackle Chaos gets turned down about that much. Elf coaches see "Chaos" and they run away. It's always either "You are too violent", "You are too strong" or "You are too good".

Yeah, unfortunately most people just aren't willing to take a chance on getting their elves hurt - even though playing against strength teams does make for a fun change. However, if you are talking about the Bloody Mummers, Mezir, people might be made nervous by the claw and the DP. It wouldn't be enough to discourage one of me from playing them, but a lot of people will take any excuse not to play a chaos team.

I don't know...being able to stop an elf getting away 5 times in 12 is pretty good! With tentacles, strength 4 on 3 stops 7 times in 12, so it's not so much better than 3 on 3 that getting tentacles for strength 3 players shouldn't be considered... having said that, on a Rotters team FA would be good, as anything that will help a beastman live longer has got to be good...

Well, big hands is always nice.. And I'd still like to see a team with some extra heads or arms.. I'm sure they'd be quite useful
