Might be a known issue, but since I have upgraded to 5.4b the human player icons don't appear anymore in the game. Does someone know a solution to that issue? |

Also, with my Ogre team, I only see Bg for Ogres and G for Goblins, no mini pictures?? Can I fix this? |

This could be either an issue with your icons.ini or perhaps you don't have the icons. I'd say it's probably your icons.ini. My buddies and I hva an icon pack which contains many icons that are not in the regular game, and an icons.ini that definitley works. PM me if you want me to send it to you.

Yeah, just open up your 'icons.ini' file in Notepad (or your equivalent) and add the following lines:

[OGRE]
ogre=bigogre.gif
goblin=goblin.gif
|
Note. You can replace 'bigogre.gif' and 'goblin.gif' with whatever icons you have for ogres and goblins respectively. If you have multiple icons, you can just add additional lines, such as:

goblin=goblin1.gif
goblin=goblin2.gif
goblin=sillygoblinsmiley.gif
|
While you're in there, check the images listed under "[HUMAN]" and make sure each of those images has an appropriate image in pics/icons. |

I have the same problem, since installing the:
"options.nfo - This contains the official FUMBBL options.
positions.ini - Makes the players on the experimental teams easier to tell apart.
player_portraits.zip - Extract to your java client directory for player portraits for all the new experimental teams."
It worked fine before, but now all teams just have the letters and no graphics, even though all the .gif files are there.
Please can someone help! |
