Just a Quick question/thread. What does FUMBBL stand for, the letters that is, or also what do you see fumbbl as meaning?

Do the letters actually stand for something or what should they stand for?

Any ideas?

Fumble + Blood Bowl League (BBL), I think, or have always assumed.

I always thought that it was an appropriate reference to some of my dice rolls!! Wink

If I had to make a guess.....
Fun Unlimited Managed BloodBowl League.
...or something. (Although I think Mezir's on the right track).

I'm guessing Christer and/or Klipp must have created the name....but it's still interesting to find out what others are thinking.

Aye, the word play is there, but does the FUM stand for anything, or is there anything "good" anyone can think of, In absence of good amusing would work.

(ps. Mez and Hund are about as correct as it gets. It was apparently simply a catchy name rather than a true acronym and Foot Upon Mouth was the afterthought that gained the greatest amount of headway and stuck.)

well....you could always go the other way.... there is a league called the MBBL (Midgaard {spelling} Blood Bowl League) so you could say F............ U.......... MBBL....

F-U-MBBL? Poor Galak. I hope he's not reading this. I think this needs a Wiki page so that everyone can add their suggestions to the retroactive acronym dilemna.

Here it is.

Throw your favorite on the end of the list and be sure not to write over anyone's ideas unless they are rude, offensive, cause cancer, have been shown to lead to blindness in experiments on unwilling babies, etc...

{ edit: damn dilemma! or should I say dam dilemna!? either way, it's funny now so I'm leaving it. It's a typo, though... I'mn mnot really illiternatnennn. }
