Is there a blackbox how too somewhere?
If not I have a few questions...
1/
If you cannot connect to chat is it possible to participate in [B]lackbox
2/
If you cannot connect to chat because your firewall blocks chat is there a way of accessing chat through a webbased MIRC that I am unaware of? |

There is an unofficial FAQ here
It is still possible to play Blackbox without chat (even if it's not ideal), as you can still arrange proxy etc... via PM. |

I've played a few [B] games vs coaches who weren't connected to IRC, no problems. 
I would suggest that if you don't have chat, you take the initiative in sending your opponent a prompt PM after the scheduler matches you up. |
