hi everone;

FUMBBL NOOB here!

ok, found out about FUMBBL after playing in last weekends Blood Bowl Grand tournament at Warhammer World, GB.

I've set up a basic Necromantic Team but i'm confused as to how i go about getting a game!?

I can see a couple of people waiting for matches in who are also in Academy but i can't see any way of physically selecting them as opponents?

also, selected 'PLAY' from my team & gone through to 'Game Launcher', with 'no proxy' selected but it's asking me for a 'Game Name'?

how do i find / get a 'game name' if i don't know who i'm playing?

Advice appreciated...

My Team is called 'Wraith of the Liche'.

Help...

Cheers,

Ti

NB: i'm currently working, so might be a slight delay replying...

I would suggest PMing your opponent on the IRC server or sending them a private message on the Fumbbl site. They can probably help you get started.

Also, fan factor is important. More fans = more money = buy replacement players.

Yes, if you're coming from a tabletop LRB5 background, it's good to note that this is LRb4-land. Brush up on Ye Olde Fashioned Roules. FF is much much much more important in LRB4 than in LRB5.

Era-related differences for necro teams:
Your wights suck (no S skill access)
Your golems are better (LRB4 SF > LRB5 SF)
Your wolves are fragile as hell (they have Catch instead of Regen)

If you're a tourney player in tabletop you should have no trouble getting up to speed on FUMBBL once you get comfortable with the client and how the site works.
