I have the problem, that I`m tracking data in an excel sheet, but want to post that data in the FUMBBL wiki system.
Does anyone have an idea how to use copy&paste to easily transfer large tables into the wiki? |

Just save as cvs and write a quick parser script (bash, perl, python...) to replace the ,'s and endline markers with wiki markup. |

While I know my way around excel, 'quick parser scripts' are beyond my knowledge. Could someone help me there? |

Worked when I last used it which is 3 months ago or so. I copy pasted a 10x20 or so table from OpenOffice Spreadsheet and it parsed fine for use with Mediawiki. |

You don't need a parser or script to do your work. I believe most textediting programs comes with a search/replace function, and some are even good. (personally I use vim (*nix editor), but that's down to taste). So as the first answer say, save as .cvs, open with your favorite editor, and do a search/replace to replace the ; with wiki markup. |

I would use excel to concat the fields with the tags you need. |
