I agree. It's about time some of those pesky wood elves turned up dead. |

Yep, wood elves are nasty things that deserve to die
AFL vs NRL update
Gents, what with Clay being away for an extended period, and with the result being somewhat......one sided.... ....I am going to hereby close the AFL vs NRL comp, declaring a resounding win for the NRL teams, 51 points to 26.
Unless I get major protests and promises of the remaining games being played, lets nip this one in the bud before the AFL teams are further demolished. |

hehe, I've been holding off playing Shane (my last), as it would be a little one sided. Anyway no dramas from me to fold. The result is indisputable, always was! |

NRL was always going to win. Everyone knows Victorians suck at blood bowl and AFL fans spend too much time picking at their short shorts. |

Well guys, i tried to come back this season using a different team. But didn't enjoy playing them, i don't think it mattered what race i got, i've lost my passion for the game. Was a good run and had lot's of fun playing against the old crew and some of the new guys. Unfortunately that leaves a gap in my regional, i know the admins will get a filler in there. Thanks for the good times and the memories, hope you all enjoy this season and those to come.
Cheers Toonie. |

SWL Season XXXI - Fringe KO
As per the PM, a big thankyou to Luohghcra and Barre who have kindly volunteered to run the tournament this season.
This season's fringe tournament will be a TR 175, knock out tournament. There are just 16 spots, which will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
Applications close on Sunday 2nd of August at 10pm Sydney time. The first round will be due at 10pm on Monday 10th, and then weekly after that. As with the fringe tournaments, there will be absolutely no extensions. If you cannot play by the deadline, send a PM to Barre to arrange a forfeit.
To apply, submit your team to the Fringe Tournaments group. If your team is over TR175, make sure that it is culled before the close of applications.
As added incentive, as well as being eligible for the SWL veterans group, the winner will also get naming rights to one of the SWL divisions for the following season!
Cheers,
Laviak
Rules Clarifications
The TR 175 cap is a maximum. There is no minimum, however it is recommended that teams should be at least TR150 to keep things competitive. Note that the TR cap applies only for the first round. After that, teams are allowed to go higher.
Overtime will be the full eight turns.
With regard to deadlines, there will be leniency only if the match is already started when axing is done. If your opponent doesn't show up, contact the axeman to arrange a forfeit - if there is any uncertainty as to which coach should go through, forfeits will be done by coin toss. |
