I think those who named the 'newbie factor' are right on the money with this one. Chaos at the bottom completely makes sense. Chaos is BY FAR the most popular fanstasy battle army. It gets a lot of press and has strong stats. Because of this it has name recognition and sounds 'cool'. Newbs go for that.

The reverse is true for CD. Who the hell plays (or in many cases, has even heard of) Chaos Dwarves? Dumpy little guys with messed up hats accompanied by weak-looking gobbos with more funky hats. It just doesn't attract the masses.

The teams with the best win stats will be the unpopular teams for newbs, and these stats are in keeping with that.

Now do that list up with experiences coaches like Bunny, BadMrMojo, Mully etc etc and wonder what that would look like.

Amazons are pretty dangerous under TR150 - Four blodgers off the bat and the whole team one skill away from blodge well before Tackle comes on the scene (assuming you're avoiding Dwarfs) makes them excellent in the first half a dozen matches.
