Does anyone have a link to the full LRB6 (as intended with new rosters)?

Bit of a sore point what with the CRP and repeated changes and edits to the lrb5+ etc.

The closest thing I can find to the glorious final version of LRB6 as it was intended can be found here:

http://www.tybbl.org.uk/resources/

many thanks to TYBBL and spread the word

edit: CRP is pretty darn close to lrb6, just missing some star players and the *ahem "experimental" teams. However there are typos apparently (eg the price of rat ogres), and several pages are missing making some of the rules make no sense.

The second CRP, the one that now is available from GWs site was corrected of said typos and other things.
The CRP and the additional team PDF is what should be used as official stuff.

The additional teams PDF is not really official

No, but they are unofficially official.

- They have been approved by the BBRC.
- All UK tournaments use them.
- They are approved by the NAF.
- The games creator approved them.

The only people who don't approve them are GW, as they don't have official miniatures to represent the teams.

Read into that what you will. Personally, they are official...

From the rulebook cards are optional, i dont think we need them.

But it would be nice to have the standard inducements:

• Bloodweiser Babes (0-2) - 50,000 gold pieces
• Bribes (0-3) - 100,000 gold pieces
• Extra Team Training (0-4) - 100,000 gold pieces
• Halfling Master Chef (0-1) - 300,000 gold pieces
• Igor (0-1) - 100,000 gold pieces
• Mercenaries (Unlimited) - Various prices
• Star Players (0-2) - Various prices
• Wandering Apothecaries (0-2) - 100,000 gold pieces
• Wizards (0-1) - 150,000 gold pieces

Are you implemented the LRB6 rules too?
Get the Ref - one Bribe the ref for each coach
etc

That's great news, glad that it got sorted. More great news: mutant goblins in FUMBBL! Can't express how grateful I am to Christer and Kalimar.

guys as much as talking about the ways of Louis Roger Bonheart and George Washington is cool, this thread is for the FFB client, so keep it on topic

How about a feature like this...

Say you have played a FUMBBL Cup game up to Turn 6 but due to cats going on fire everywhere you cant get online for more than 5 mins and unfortunately you arent in the right timezone to play so you logon to the server and play your turn, and then the server mails the other dude and says there is a turn available to play, which he does asap and so forth...

Meaning there should never be a forfeit match?

And what about when the opponent needs to do something on your turn (apo use, side step, wrestle, etc.)? No, if you can't get online for more than five minutes, play using the PbEM client.

Me thinks you should mind your own business. I realize this is a little late, but for clarification, nobody in the group was told to spam the thread.

We are in fact proud of our accomplishment to provide an open, active, and fun group. Many coaches are invested in their teams and the group. Likewise, we are invested in knowing what the future holds for the FFB client and will be grateful to Kalimar and Christer when it is completed. No problem being involved in the process.

I've never played BB7, but if the FFB Client is well suited to let them play, and actively helps them, it will be very helpful should any company ever come to say "hey look, that's actually our ruleset and IP you use in that client".

I cannot see it happening.

Mainly because quite a bit is different between BB7s here and any other BB7 game out there due to restrictions in the JavaBB client, plus we have different balancing mechanisms.

I would think that having a 100% replication of a CRP (a.k.a CRaP) ruleset would be more suspicious!

As it has already scrolled out of the Blog roll - here is the latest Development Update.

I've already put up the Release Notes for the FFB version used in the upcoming public Beta.
