Maybe you need to turn greasemonkey on. If its installed there should be little monkey icon bottom right. If he's grey and sad then its turned off. Click him to turn greasemonkey on. When you install script it should popup an install dialogue.

Ah-ha, what do you know, turning it on works! Thanks Momfreeek.

So, I keep on putting water into my kettle, but nothing happens, 5 minutes later it is still cold.........

'anyone know what i have to do to make it work under a user-account?

i got it working easily (and sweetly Smile ) under admin-account, then switched to normal user-account - greasemonkey-icon didn't show up in status-bar (firefox), hence reinstalled it while still in user-account - now, the little icon shows (as it does for admin, including the fumbbl-spectate-links in context-menu, everyth. activated), but the ig-links still won't show up for the user-account Sad

any suggestions?

The script is configured not to work on the Games page... sort of doesn't need to be. Smile

just discovered this thread....
Almost makes me want to go back to FireFox, but I really took a liking to Opera... Decisions decisions Very Happy

Opera has userscript functionality that is mostly compatible with greasemonkey. With a (fairly limited) greasemonkey compatibility library and by turning of cacheing in the script, you can get it to work:

- To enable user JavaScript, use Tools > Preferences > Advanced > Content > JavaScript options, and select the directory where you will put your User JavaScript files.

- Save the following file to the directory you selected above (greasemonkey compatibility library):
http://www.howtocreate.co.uk/operaStuff/userjs/aagmfunctions.js

- Save the Spectate Links script to the directory:
http://userscripts.org/scripts/source/28719.user.js

- Edit the Spectate Links script, line 37 to
var cache_game_data_timeout = 0 ;

With the cacheing its faster and more efficient in Firefox, but this should work just fine Smile

Thank you Very Happy
