Not quite sure whats happening.

I use vista, have the latest IE and Java.

When i click on betatest to start a FFb game all i get is a pop up ask "Do you want to open or save ffb.jnlp from fumbbl.com"

Any ideas?

well the obvious solution would be to download it and then click on it to start it.
If that doesn't work it is likely a java related problem that you can probably solve by using another version. (either newer or older who knows) Feel free to test another browser tho...

Choose the "open" option. Did that not work?

Check your java settings so that you have sandbox-mode enabled.
