What is the advantage of creating a team under the "tournament" choice versus "open" or "DivX" choices ? What are the reasons why one would do this?

If you are making a team specifically to play in a player-run tournament (which often requires a fresh, TR 100 team), then all the teams playing need to be in the Tournament division.
If you want a team for general play, you're best off sticking with Open or maybe DivX. For some fun options, try out Stunty or Ladder.
If you read about a league on these boards and want to join, it should have instructions on whether to create a new team in divT or whatever. Some tourneys have their own special rules (Peasantbowl and TBB come to mind) that would require you to make a special team in divT. |

dT teams are not for general play, I've noticed a few people just making dT teams and start trolling for games like normal in the last few days. The admins were nice enough to give us the overhead for these teams, lets not abuse it, ok?
PS im not saying people are doing it deliberately, but some FAQ reading is in order if you want to learn more about divisions before you go make teams. |
