Question: How would I go about hosting games? I don't have a website or anything like that, would I need one?

No. You just need your IP address, it's displayed by fumbbl.com on the Overview page. Then when starting Javabowl, choose "net server" and enter your IP into the "host" field. Then hit start. And don't forget to give your opponent the address. Smile

You don't need a website to host games. Seriously, read the Help section - all that is explained there in detail Smile.

Just starting the client clicking on server and loading the game is enough btw - you don't need to enter your own ip. It will be displayed in the client once the server is up to.

Alternatively you can host via the fumbbl proxy - to do that select server, enter fumbbl.com in the server address field, change the port to 8081 and activate the proxy field. Enter yours and your opponents coach name in the proxy field [i.e. Mnemon-Darkson] and tell your opponent what the game is named - he connects with the same settings as client.

Thank you all, I'll try to try it tomorrow.

My career is now 4 games, 1 tie, 3 losses and I retired team.

So no change there from my Tabletop and PBeM experiance Smile
