Reading the Fumbbl rules would be nice thing.
You cannot run tournaments in ranked division. |

heh, but oyu could create a group and match the teams manually to let them play.
You'll only need a mutual agreement not to play outside  |

Thats is a sure way to find yourself banned from FUMBBL. Teams in this type setting must be allowed to play outside matches for it to be legal in ranked. |

is this the case? where is the distinction between groups who award points for matches against outside opponents and groups who award points for matches between members? is it about not allowing closed leagues so as to artificially boost your coach ranking? |

peikko is right.. read the rules!!! such tourneys are not allowed because ranked is _the_ competitve divison on fumbbl and this would be spoiled by everyone running tournaments there... if you are eager to play tournies in ranked wait for the officially sanctioned FUMBBL-tourneys like FUMBBL SMACK |

Trif, I think the difference is that you cannot play outside the group until the Tournament ends... |

The "meta-leagues" do not arrange matches. Leagues do. That is the difference. |
