All right, here's what happened: my squig hopper had the ball. Opponent throws a bomb, knocking down the ball-carrier. Ball bounces to one of my other players, a goblin, who catches it. Suddenly, not only does the have the ball, he also has a second bomb. (I threw the bomb away out of range of anyone, and he still had the ball, if that makes any difference in tracking down the bug.)
