I would like to suggest that a spiked ball, when carried by a player, gives that player the ability to make stab attacks while they are still carrying the ball. |

OMG that would be hilarious. You could handoff at end of turn to a no-hands opponent (or one in zones) like a free blitz. Costs you the ball.... |

I've done this before in that stunty Leeg tournament I threw the ball once the game was over (T16), at an opposing player, sadly I missed  |

I think that spiked ball strikes only after failed catch or pickup. No hands cannot attempt either. |

Actually, they can't attempt pick ups (or intercepts), but fail catch rolls automatically. So handing off to a No Hander with a spiked ball would result in him getting stabbed. |
