Not exactly linked to Blood Bowl, but I am sure there are many out there who have played Warhammer Online, especially with it's links to the Blood Bowl world.

It seems Mythic and Games Workshop are parting company and therefore Warhammer Online will close;

Had some great times in that game, although I have not played it in some time. Same to see it close, but at the same time, it's a shame they never ventured into the 3 realm world (a.k.a. Dark Age of Camelot)

Bring back a three way fight MMORPG... other games are just sooo 2 dimensional.

That's a pity, I had heard it was very good. Leaves things even more open for GW to cooperate with Creative for a good Warhammer game.

If all MMORPGs were to be shut down, the world would be a better place.

What a strange comment.

That's like saying if all Cinema's were closed, or if all Coffee shops were closed.

MMORPG's are just a pastime, much like many other games.

Fumbbl is filling my need for MMORPG's right now and I'm thankful that it's free (although I usually put in my subscription fee every couple months as a thank you). It's pretty amazing that it scratches pretty much all my grinding itches. I've got grid filling for the collecting bug, I've got +stats and doubles for the better gear bug, I've got PvP for the kill all menz bug. It also fills my "Must have dwarfs" (or creatures of small stature) requirement.

Looks like another strange comment. I don't think I know anybody who got through a full night without sleeping while watching a movie or having a coffee.

I have gone through a whole night watching a series of films.

And more than once I pulled an all nighter at work, and coffee was the only thing that got me through that Razz

So they are bad because some people play on them all night? Maybe, but some people play on Farmville and the like for many hours too.

WAR had some really kinda cool features and the heros' animations were just awesome in my opinion, but that couldn't make up for the developers' total lack of understanding of how an economy works (thus they introduced new currencies all the time), for the featuring of the allegedly worst trade skill system abomination ever and for several other flaws (which I can't remember right now).
