Hi man, great job playing flings and writing up stuff.

A tip for next time you make a team: fan factor is a bad thing in this ruleset. No team should even have FF at creation. Especially if it's as TV sensitive as flings.

Also: diving catch isn't really much of a fling skill. The main reason you COULD want dc (on a real ag3 player) is for receiving passes on a 2 instead of a 3. However, you pass on a 4+ with a fling, and that's only if you're close. Better off with a single catch, sprint, sure feet guy for scoring. (ideally helped by handfuls of +MA and/or +AG of course)

Green Bay Munchers 1-3 Desdibujándote

Well hello Munchers fans! An interesting match against the Skaven in many ways. Nuffle was a little unkind with our dice rolls in the early phase after kicking off. Anyway, we played fairly well and with not long to go were 2-0 down. Lywinn Pipetalker was hurled through the air by Branchfury The Treeman and crossed the line! A magnificent individual effort by Lywinn who is now dangerously close to getting yet another skill! The Skaven scored another one right on full time for a deserved win. We may feel it was closer than 3-1 but that is the way the cookie crumbles sometimes!

Other News...
Speaking of skills, Branchfury The Treeman continued his consistent form and got a new skill. He took Break Tackle and I think it might raise a few eyebrows on opponents of the Munchers to see two Treemen steaming (slowly) towards them!

Also looking towards an assistant coach role is the touchdown scoring Pip Bundigger who smashed his collar bone.

Green Bay Munchers 1-4 Jaarvic Craghammers

DISASTER FOR THE MUNCHERS

Well, we struggled against the Norsemen but were playing a pretty good game. At the half it was 1-2 in their favour but I thought we were holding our own. But in the second half disaster struck...

CYPRESS HELL WAS FOULED AND KILLED!!!

So, now we are down to one Treeman (can't afford another) and things are looking grim for the Munchers. What will we do?

(help!)

Fire him: Pip Bundigger

Expect the worst next game. Always keep money for a tree in the future.

We have 100k so a Tree is in our future. And Pip will be fired as soon as we can get that Tree!!

+AG on a fling is the best thing that can happen to a fling team after block on a tree (actually, it's more winning. The only reason it's less important than the block tree is that it tends not to last as long). So hooray for that!

Firing the ST1 is obvious, yes. Also fire the AV5 one. With 100k in the bank you are all but guaranteed to only miss your tree for the one game. It sucks, but it happens. If he'd been fouled MNG or -AG or smth you'd miss him for a game too. Use your low TV to find an opponent with no tackle and little block (like these guys, though one that's 100k over you is even better because chef).

Very wise. I do think +AG is almost the best thing that caould happen for us!

I would point out also, assuming as most (all?) fling coaches do you're looking to buy the chef at every opportunity, you really don't need 6 re-rolls. 6 is a terrible number because if the chef performs well you don't even get the full benefit (as 8 is max and chef can steal up to 3). I'd suggest along with firing the 2 injured players (which I'd do now rather than after you've got the second tree) you also fire 2-3 re-rolls. Currently all they're doing is finding you more difficult games.
