To me the only useful thing about orangutan is av8, the team already has epic handoffing possibilities, no need for passing: make them blockers!
Plus, I'd choose a little ape to do the throwing job, those that usually toss you their own feces  |

yeah, well I think you just sum up the flaw in the passing game full stop really, there is never a need to pass with any race in truth. Its just far too risky. the chimps are clearly the best runners once developed. Then just hand off to the gorilla to get them skilled up at the end. |

I suggested after my first game with them that the Orangutan was mostly useless and that the following changes would be great, and in-keeping with the team theme and fluff
0-1 Gorilla - 140000 - 5 - 5 - 2 - 9 - Extra Arms, Grab, Loner, Mighty Blow, Wild Animal - S - G A P
0-4 Orangutan - 100000 - 5 - 4 - 2 - 8 - Extra Arms, Grab - A S - G P
0-2 Chimpanzee - 80000 - 7 - 3 - 3 - 7 - Extra Arms, Wrestle - G A - S P
0-2 Gibbon - 80000 - 7 - 2 - 4 - 7 - Extra Arms, Stunty, Dodge - A - G S P
0-12 Bonobo - 50000 - 6 - 3 - 3 - 7 - Extra Arms - G - A S P
* A return of the Gibbon position as an Ag4 Stunty
* Gorilla becomes the name of the big guy, Orangutan the name of the strong grab blocker (which fits well, with S and A access)
* +1 Ag for the big guy
However, SunDevil said it wouldn't happen because the team is meant to match the Impact Miniatures Apes of Wrath figures so the Orang will remain a thrower |

That Gibbon is far too good.
It's a shame how hard it is to fit the fluff and make the Orangutan a worthwhile position. |

I think it could. Just ignore the design rules by Galak. We did it for Stunty. Cheapen everything up a bit, and give the orang kor for free.
Nothing here has ever been described before, so you really have a free hand in creation. |

Probably, yeah. Make that:
0-2 Gibbon - 80000 - 6 - 2 - 4 - 7 - Extra Arms, Stunty - A - G S P
I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with an Ag4 Stunty, and if anything is stunty and Ag4 then it's a gibbon! |

I don't know why everyone is so down on the Orangus.
I've had a lot of luck using them for a passing game, and it's been pretty effective. |

AG4 Stunty is broken. Should have to earn it.
lol @ Orangutan as-is. I like the roster mister_joshua put up, if only the Gibbons lost either Stunty or AG4. Or you could give the Orangutan Big Hand at +10k: Big Hand, Extra Arms, and Strong Arm is a good combo. |

Probably cause all the big coaches on this site hate the passing game when it comes to making the most wining team possible.  |

Early days yet, but given the amount of Simyin games I see being played I would love to see some stats as to how they are doing.
