3 times now, after the game when I'm /chatting w/ the other coach, the new client has given me the message:

    The connection to the server has been closed.
    To re-connect you must restart the client.

Client is still "open", just can't type, and, of course, the problem is that I can't restart the client - the game is over, even if the /chat wasn't.


Not a game-breaking hiccup, but I thought I'd mention it.

Update - this happened again, but this time at the beginning of a match, just after oppo joined.

(And I took a screenshot, and the message is now ver batim, above)

This same bug is preventing me from playing at all.
I am trying to open a league game I'm not at my home network where the game usually works fine but at a public one but I can still use the internet but the client says exactly what smeat says for me too.

is it possible this is a firewall issue in some of the cases?

I have had this exact response. But every time I have had it is when the my connection drops for a few seconds. So probably doesn't help much. I haven't had it happen any other time.

Worst was 3x for me and 2x for opponent in one game. So many restarts.

AND, once it happened just as a blitz action hit home on my ballcarrier - connection was closed after movement but before the hit, and when I reconnected I could not see result of dice, had to ask opponent and take his word (for how to use Sidestep, back behind my cage or forward toward the goal).

It would be rather obscure for the firewall to decide to close the connection finally at the end of a 90 minute game. Rather laggy security response. Rolling Eyes

I guess anything is possible, and this is certainly not my computer forte, but given the nature of the symptoms I have to doubt it.
