For my part, I cannot agree more with Tor Alkir. Give him block and dump off. You can't go wrong with that, especially if ur lucky enough to get NoS the after. The opposing team will have a hard time to decide which player is gonna be blitzed. And with sure hands, strip ballers won't do... Good luck! |

I don't think dump-off is a good choice for an ST4 thrower. If he get's blitzed with 2d, something went already wrong. And even a quick pass is a 4+ with pass in the best scenario where only one tacklezone is next to the thrower.
I'd give him skill like as if he was a blitzer (block, tackle). Sure hands are nice to pick up the ball after blitzing the ballcarrier. |

Thx for the advice, y'all. I don't normally carry two throwers on a skaven squad--gutters make a good enough thrower in a pinch. But I reckon when I get the cash I'll now use my str 4 guy on defense, to hopefully take the ball away, then next turn pass ahead for a counter-score. Another thrower will lineup for my offensive turns--2/3 of my scores have come on defense thus far, so my str 4 guy should still get plenty of workout.  Just need the cash, but don't we all? |

i got +ST first skill on my delf thrower and followed it with accurate and strong arm for those end eto end passing moves. also like oyu say makes the puss on the backfield to steal the ball that bit harder. he can blitz out of trouble if he need to too. He also occasionaly picks off the ball carrier and secures it (a bit safer with ST4) for the pass next turn. |

S4 ball carrier works well. Block next, follow up with tackle or strip ball. Doubles I'd take Dodge. |

Update: on his second skill, Shuriken, my skaven thrower in question, rolled +agi. I reckon I'll keep him as my primary QB for now... |

I would honestly consider giving him Spikes if you ever roll a double for him. ST4 AG4 is a killer combo, you want that guy to live for a long time. |
