Magnificent!

We are always open for more victims... I mean coaches...

Anyone else who wants to join may PM myself or Toonie to go on the waiting list. The draw is expected to take place on IRC tonight at around 7pm/8pm AEST time. That is 1100/1200 bbtime. The draw will be in two parts. Part 1 is the draft order. Coaches will be placed in order of 1-24 which will then be used to give coaches their race.

We invite all coaches to join us on IRC to guarantee total transparency in this process. Those who can't may stay tuned to the thread where I will attempt to announce each race as they come off the board. Good luck all! And congratulations to all coaches taking part in the inaugural competition.

Please note: I noticed an area of potential confusion. In regards to "taking all stat boosts" for skill rolls, if you roll 5+5 and have taken both MA increases, you MUST take both AV increases before taking a double skill.

So random order to then allow coaches to pick teams?

Or both random order of coaches and then randomly assigned teams as well?

Random coaches first. Each coach therefore will get a number from 1-24.

Then another draw in order of your numbers to get a race. Example: draw 1 I get 15. This means I am the 15th coach to draw a race. The second draw, I go 15th, draw 1. That means Amazons. I suppose I could explain it better. But I am not going to Very Happy

A note to creating your teams.

The league is in the Southern Wastes. With that in mind your fluff should illustrates one of two scenarios.

1. Your team is in the Southern Wastes and from there as well. Extra kudos for choosing the name of an Australian area or town and manipulating it for your purposes. Remember, you are all roving bands searching the land for the championship.

2. Your team are not from the Southern Wastes but find yourselves there. Could be a tour gone wrong, adventurers seeking something or whatever.

As regards the league itself. In the coming days, Toonie and I will draw 4 divisions of 6 teams. Each team will have 5 games. The top placed team will playoff in a semi final/final format. At the end of the season, the 4 division winners will STAY in their divisions. The remaining 5 teams in each division will be randomly placed again. This reflects the transitory nature of the peoples in the area.
