Take Sidestep. Anyone touches you on the wings, they're going in the crowd. Lead the cage tight up the sideline with your Stand Firm teammates and crowd surf everyone who even looks at you funny.

Next up, Grab. Endless hilarity. Crowd push anyone from basically anywhere.

Alt: Jump Up, but you probably don't ever get knocked prone often enough to care. Other Alt: Guard, your team's already full of it, supporting you, it's fine. Other other Alt: Piling On, nonsense, just take the crowd pushes all night long, get ahead in the score.

You do need someone else with Tackle and Strip Ball to get it off the other team too, but you'll have their numbers down and be making it easy for your side to clean up.

Dodge, Diving Catch, Grab and Side-step are all the best suggestions here. Although I do like girl in a frenzy with Juggs.

The Blitzer has Frenzy, so she can't take Grab.
Grab and Frenzy are mutually exclusive.

I'm going to suggest Guard.

Frenzy+Stand Firm means that she can frenzy push herself into really inconvenient places for your opponent, spread her icky guard tacklezones everywhere, with blodge+SF making her then incredibly difficult to remove.

Incredibly difficult to remove? Laughing
Never heard of Wrestle/Tackle or straight Pows?
Blodge is good for sure but you are overestimating it.

Forcing a player to need pows is hard in my books, and forcing them to use their wrestle/tackle pieces serves a good purpose in my books.

That is a really good explanation for guard; I of course discounted guard earlier as this is my go to blitzer and I have 3 guard players already (probably 4 soon).

Vote is 9/9 Smile

Ok, lets be clear. The no PO choice is Guard.

The doubles choice is diving tackle, but it is inferior to either PO or Guard.

Still, Blodge doesn't make her incredibly difficult to remove, just difficult (and that was my point).
Never said she wouldn't serve a good purpose, that was a strawman of yours.

Again, Zons need as many Guards as possible. Including eventually on POMBers. I would field 11 Guards if I could.

4 Guards are plenty. Don't need more than 4 guards with amazons. Defenetly no Guard needed on a pomber. Of course it is not bad to have a 5th, it is not a bloat, but also not necessary.

I'm not doing jump-up (for PO later) nor PO; mostly meta reasons i.e. if I started in a major/minor with this team I would take PO because I would feel I had to; but its more fun games without.

I wont lack guard, even if it IS nice with stand firm; so that is out. Sidestep, is also out, as I have stand firm.

That leaves tackle (yes the team probably needs it if it goes above 1500 TV) or juggernaut; here I gamble on the 1/36 chance of 66 next roll :-9 and gamble on building my perfect side control blitzer.

The vote is atm 10/10 with very divergent suggestions on the actual skill-choice. It is nice that the thread did not go to take tackle/po stupid, that I was afraid it might go to.

He's said no Tackle. Very Happy EDIT - Oh, apparently Tackle is OK now... - EDIT

And I love DT, but you can make a SS/DT out of a catcher without a single double...

@ bghandras: well, let's agree to disagree. Wink
