This post is mostly for the admins to debate but I thought that by setting it up as a forum post everybody could have their say.
Fumbbl is great but I have an idea to make it better:
REPLACE THE MINORS WITH SOMETHING MORE UNIQUE
Why? Well by creating some tournaments with specific rules/rosters we might encourage more diversity in teams being created across the site.
Like what I hear you cry? Well here are three suggestions.
1) The Goblin Invitashunal Tawnamunt. Take the rule set I created for this league and apply it to a knock out tournament. New teams must be a brand new [L] team, but said team can then be used the following years.
2) The Dungeonbowl. Without causing poor Christer mega coding headaches lets keep it simples. Only the following rosters can be used with the following limitations due to the low ceilings of the underground pitch:
Chaos Dwarf: No Bull centaurs, no Minotaurs
Dwarf: No deathrollers
Goblin: No Trolls, No Fanatics, No pogoers
Halfling: No treemen
Ogre: No ogres
Skaven: No rat ogres
Underworld: No trolls
3) Halloween Bowl
A tournament for any Khemri, Necromantic, Undead or Vampire team. In October. |
