Hi there,

My son is starting to show an interest in Blood Bowl, and I wanted to get a few games going with him.

I know i can use the Test Mode to set up some 2 player games with him, but that doent have the element of team progression that yu get with 'real' games.

I know the rules say you are not supposed to play the same opponent again and again.

I was wondering if it would be acceptable for me to create a private league, and just have him and me in that league so we could play games and track the team progression like a real game.

If that isn't any good, whats the best way of doing this? At this stage he isn't interested in playing anyone else.

Hi, you can create teams in League division and play
as often as you like, no need to create a private league.
The rules say you are not supposed to play the same opponent again and again in Ranked division.

That's what I did with my son. Although, we've only played 3 games.

They'll be sharing the IP too. So totally keep it out of Ranked. However as Matt said, you can do what you like in League.

Also let the site staff know when he joins 'and let them know' who he is.

Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it. I'm going to try playing a couple of my own teams in the Test Client so he can see how things work.

I was thinking of showing him the game in the Cyanide BB Chaos Edition first, so it's easier to visualize whats happening, and then coming over to FUMBBL to play

Surely that's easier here? Cyanide's graphics are more exciting however much harder to see what is going on.

As I said earlier, make sure you let the staff know when he makes an account.
