Hey, this is funny, my humans (Martez' Request) played him long before he even thought of making history. In 2011 and I am glad we played a draw. Now I can feel good about myself, not losing to the coach that can train POMB legend Elves.
On topic : I like Dark Elves best because so many positionals. Sure, they're not OP as WD but they die less frequently.
And because they are the most bushy Elves and like to kill other Elves.
Wood Elves are the best in a good coach 's hands. But so fragile, there's little room for errors. |

I'd say the other way around:
Dancers are great, yeah.. but picking them usually means less rerolls.. and Av8 + (max) 4 blocks makes it much easier to start with Darkies.
Later when Woodies have more skills.. then Darks are left a bit behind (on speed, on skills.. only advantage is still the AV.. but then against claw it doesn't matter).
If Woodies started with dancers and 1 catcher and darkies started with 4 blitzers and a runner.. then next positionals would be thrower for woodies and witch for darkies.. the difference isn't that much (90k vs 110k) but Woodies gets "final needed" positional faster on average (unless they suffer heavy CAS, then it's easier with darkies to get witch[es] before woodies get more positionals like another catcher)..
I like Darkies most. That team works for me. But i'm gonna rank Woodies higher because most elf-coaches play better with them and they have most potential of these teams. So i voted Woodies even tho i'm Dark-coach |

I still can't believe 89 coaches can all be so wrong .. 
@kummo: I agree with most of what you say. Dark elves are better at lower TV, where their starting skills make more of a difference. At high TV, stats become a bigger differentiator, so the speed of the High Elves and Wood Elves tends to win out. Especially when it comes to one-turning. |

Uhm, woodelves are the strongest elf race. Perhaps the best race in Blood Bowl. No competition. Nothing more to say... Also Pro Elves are the weakest Elf race. |
