I'm gonna play with a TV difference equal to 870K and my goblin team have already 15 players, Can I engage 4 champions or should hire 3 players before ?

you can hire 1 star player, and the your roster is at maximum 16 players. |

fire 2 goblins get +80 TV extra, and 3 star players,but not possible if since I think you have pressed "ready to play" so you cant fire them.
but take 1 good star then, and buy max bribes, wizard and other stuff. |
