Keep a triple-niggled player? I don't care how good his stats, he's too much a liability when he doesn't show up, which will happen more than half the time.

So do I, but more and more of late in my games I dearly wish I still had him. In my last 7 games I've suffered 26 cas including 10 RIP, 7 of them perm, vs inflicting only 3 cas in return. My last two vs ELVES have resulted in 14 cas, including 4 perm-RIP. Given his av 6 Sai might not have survived either game, but guarantee you we would've at least been giving as good as we got! It's been tough on his progeny since he's left, too...Son of Sai lasted only 5 games before RIP, Daughter of Sai died in her second game...

Not just other players, it seems...I created a brand new team, with the fluff that it's Sai's attempt to return to stardom...name the team for him, a couple players...in the first 6 turns of the game, I end up with 2 RIP and a MNG...I conceeded the match before seeing how much worse it could get...so the curse applies to entire teams, it seems...
