DLE Power Rankings, Season 3, Series 3.

These will come out once per series, starting now, with the Season 3, Series 3 rankings.

I'll be looking at:
* Record
* Playoff Hopes
* Team Quality
* Coach Ability

How scary are you? How likely are you to win it all? How good are you? I'll attempt to put it all together in a ranking system, top to bottom.

Season 3, Series 3: Top 12!

#1 Broekwater Patriots (8-1-0, 3-0-0, 1510k). There is no other choice this season. The Pats have the best team and the best record. And now they’re loaded with Side Step.

#2 Kemperbad Knights (6-1-2, 2-0-1, 1440k). Sporting 7 Guard, the Superbowl Champions are loaded for bear. They also sport four -MA hits.

#3 Flashfurt Universe (5-3-1, 3-0-0, 1410k). Nimble and hard-hitting, the Universe are in a nasty fight with Hargendorf over the KFC North. I expect the Universe to win.

#4 Rotenbach Razorbacks (5-4-0, 2-1-0, 1040k). A good team, but a little beat up with three mangled blitzers and a TW lower than their record indicates. One of only two undefeated teams.

#5 Brionne Buccaneers (5-2-2, 3-0-0, 1210k). The Bucs have some rookies, but they’re not carrying much damage, and their key pieces are quite intact.

#6 Norden Legion (6-1-2, 3-0-0, 1180k). These guys have a good record and 7 AG-ups, even if they’re not all that hard-hitting, at least on paper.

#7 Hargendorf Unicorns (5-3-1, 1-1-1, 950k). A team full of specialists, very tight. Suffer from being in the same division as the Universe, but look to compete for a playoff spot anyway.

#8 Erengrad Vikings (4-4-1, 2-1-0, 1240k). The Vikings are massively beat up and need a huge infusion of draft capital, but they’re on top of their division… for now.

#9 Remas Eagles (4-3-2, 1-1-1, 1110k). The Eagles are hard to place. They started out on fire, but have mellowed. They sport a rookie Blitzer, but have most of the key players intact.

#10 Irrana Avalanche (3-5-1, 0-2-1, 1110k). This team is hard-hitting and aggressive. They have pulled off enough wins to get into playoff position, but haven’t done well in their division.

#11 Templehof Thunder (4-2-3, 1-1-1, 1030k). A good-looking team, not too beat up or rookish, with just a couple holes in it. But the KFC East division race is super-tight, anybody could take it.

#12 Dunkelberg White Wolves (4-2-3, 2-1-0, 1040k). With a good division record, the White Wolves are in a comfortable looking second place. Whether they can ride that to the playoffs remains to be seen.

Season 3, Series 3: The Muddled Middle

#13 Carroburg Crimson Cascade (4-2-3, 2-0-1, 1270k). Coach ttorvatn can put this together and make the playoffs.

#14 Averheim River Bandits (4-3-3, 0-3-0, 1380k). Coach FRSHMN insists that he’s the sleeper of the KFC, and I don’t think he’s necessarily wrong.

#15 Monte Castello Wreckers (4-2-3, 1-1-1, 1170k). A bad game, a good skill roll, and a blockbuster deal all pretty much wash out for now. But the Wreckers have shored up their future somewhat.

#16 Muckenhof Manticores (4-2-3, 1-1-1, 110k). I don’t know where to put this team, which means they go in the middle. How’s that for reasoning?

#17 Marienburg Foxes (3-4-2, 0-1-2, 1060k). 3rd place in a tough division, with a really really nasty schedule. Good team though.

#18 Talabheim Sluggers (3-2-4, 2-1-0, 1130k). Win in your division. That’s the road to the playoffs. c9805222 is doing it, but is it enough?

#19 Dead Wood Rangers (4-1-4, 0-0-3, 1180k). The Rangers aren’t a bad squad, but their soft performance in the SHC East hurts them badly.

#20 Wolfenburg Wolfskins (2-4-3, 0-1-2, 1160k). I may have these guys too low. They wrecked the Wreckers. But you gotta win in your division.

#21 Nuln Gunners (3-3-3, 0-1-2, 1030k). The Gunners have done poorly against their division and may be packing it in.

I would put the wreckers, eagles, rangers ahead of the vikings due to the injuries that vikings suffered during their wins.

Edited, I forgot Wolfenburg. Put them in 20th, but they're climbing.

I think Vikings deserve their place, as they've only lost one game, and are continuing to scrape out wins. Patriots at the top though? We'll see how they fair once they meet some real competition from the SHC, not the namby-pamby-put-a dummy-in-my-mouth-and-call-me-bambi KFC!

You didn't write much though for Wolfskins, JR? I thought you'd write something like: love the team, love the coach, these guys have real potential ☺

To be honest, I might have put my own team a bit lower. Like 8th - 10th. Mainly because of banged up team, with almost rookie Ogre (and as mentioned 3 hurt blitzers).

Yeah but you're undefeated Steen, that's bloody impressive. And you may stay that way until unlucky round 13.

Season 3, Series 3: the Bottom Feeders

#22 Los Cabos Marauders (3-1-5, 1-0-2, 940k). Chimp2010 takes over a weak squad, and instantly it gets stronger. Like Wolfenburg, these guys may be underrated.

#23 Middenheim Classics (3-1-5, 0-1-2, 1090k). These guys won’t win their division, but they can still play spoiler for SHC wildcard candidates.

#24 Emsk Red Cardinals (2-1-6, 1-0-2, 1170k). Good coach, good looking team. Only a bad inherited record puts them out of contention.

#25 Grenzburg Greenskins (3-1-5, 1-1-1, 960k). The Greenskins are in bad shape, with injuries and rookies aplenty.

#26 San Luis 49ers (1-4-4, 1-0-2, 840k). Coach Neubau takes over a flailing franchise. Can he right the ship?

#27 Fort Solace Griffins (1-2-6, 1-1-1, 910k). Like Neubau above him, Gruug takes over a failing franchise, hoping to turn it around. Watch this space.

#28 Praag Grizzlies (1-4-4, 0-2-1, 1070k). These guys will bounce back, but it’s just not their year. They have the right skills, but they’re not in the right places.

#29 Wolfsbach Scimitars (2-1-6, 1-0-2, 1100k). Two rookie Blitzers keep this squad from being dangerous, otherwise they’d be a force.

#30 Barboza Bruisers (0-5-4, 0-1-2, 970k). The Bruisers are dangerous still, but now they’re gunning for a top 3 pick.

#31 Altdorf Thunderbolts (1-1-7, 1-0-2, 1000k). This team is more or less walking proof that AV doesn’t win you games.

#32 Skar Bay Sharks (0-1-9, 0-1-2, 890k). The only speculation left is who they’ll take with the #1 overall ... oops, they traded it away.

Very nice. Yeah, something has got to change with all of my players being injured. Super Bowl looks tricky to manage, but we're still looking to make the play-offs.
