THIS is how I often name my team.
1... Pick some kind of theme.
2... Look up that theme on an internet search engine.
3... Choose a site... preferably a site with LISTS
4... Name the players after the words on that list.
TADA!!! Your team has a theme.
Some examples of themes I have used...
-People who have been in the band Guns'N'Roses
-Illusion Spells from Dungeons and Dragons
-Names of players from my favorite Basketball Team
-Non-animal objects fond in swamps.
-Stupid Politicians and the political scare tactics they employ to lead sheeple
-Legendary Cryptid animals and Islands of the Carribean.
-Types of knives
See... relatively random themes... but they do help pull a team together and when you add new players you can go back to the list you found for new names if you are stumped.
Even I don't use this method for ALL of my teams. But it is a quick and effective way to flesh out a roster. |
