Black Box Belts! This is a month out of date, again, but here I am posting it anyway. The current season is half way in, and there's a rush of new teams taking on the Steel blackbox challenge, so expect a little more stunties and vamps and such for the next year if people take a keen spirit to it.

But, if TV for your own or your opponent's team is 1400 or higher, well, they'll also be competing for the Black Box Belts! A sprint of 16 consecutive games (of those that qualify) each counts 4/2/1 toward final scores, and the best have well earned their belt.

What madness and high scores might ensue, for the following December/January sprint, when those Steel challenge teams have grown a little and can have a go at a sprint themselves?

Let's see who won the belts though, back at the end of September.

Only thirty-one complete real sprints but a much higher fifty-seven names on the boards here, dominant wood elves down to half a sprint with some of the less likely teams, and a few results and mid to high TV with stunties is nothing to sneeze at.

Three teams defended their titles, coached by: MattDakka (amazon and slann), and dirold (flings). A lot of new names in as big names were no doubt parked ready to get a beating in the fumbbl cup, some of whom are already back in box and proper angry about it.

Three coaches took a couple of belts each, doclystria with the speed demons, and SergeiBautin with some bash, but it's MattDakka doing best here retaining two belts and getting #1 contender for three more, the man loves him some dodge.

Nine rosters did not complete the real sprint for the badge (at the top of this post): Amazon, Chaos Renegades, Dark Elf, Elven Union, Halfling, Khemri, Lizardmen, Ogres, and Slann did not complete a real sprint. If you want a that belt for your team bio, some of those are pretty easy to aim for. We only count games at 1400+, check out the lower scoring winners if you fancy yourself as doing better up there, go on and win a belt.

Thanks for reading and thanks for playing box, or even trying to play box when it's a bit quiet. Thanks for the heads up in chat and on the forums when you're looking too. Thanks for that Steely inspiration that's bought a little flood of new teams to the box and all. Special notes there: most cas for, WMD's in The Box with 72 (just the team for it); most cas against, Stuck Mojos with 71 (goblins, who else really, stupid trolls).

There's already 16 complete sprints for Oct/Nov, check out the easy targets there too, get a decent TV, play some games, simple as that. Enjoy, it's the taking apart that counts. Very Happy

Thanks Tussock! The Smashington Greenskins can take some solace in keeping their Belt after their humiliating defeat in the fumbbl cup.
