Hello,

My Gutter runner AG5 has a double as first skill.

Mutation or I go for skill?

In the past, I would have taken very long legs that added +ma, but now it is not the case anymore.

I'd consider Two Heads. Dodge into 2 zones on a 2+! Wrestle next.

Horns is not bad, either. Again, Wrestle next.

if you want to make him a sacker go with horns, leap, wrestle, strip. with ag5 you dont need very long legs or extra arms anymore, foul appearance is a bad skill for a player that shouldnt get hit that often anyway

indeed without Block, he is not a great ball carrier.

A ball retriever is a good idea, horns and leap to jump in the cage, with wrestle. ( and die soon after ?)
two head if I don t consider leap later.

Never underestimate the value of any MA9, AG5 guard. In a pinch, he simplifies one turn attempts, and on defense, he'll allow better hits on the ball.

Problem gutters face is that there are too many good doubles. Especially when they have AG5.

My top picks would be guard, horns, or skip for block or wrestle. On this guy, I'd probably take guard, skaven can never have enough.

AG5 is what you make of it, and there are several great options you can go with.

Horns, then Wrestle and Leap.
Two Heads is not bad but Leap saves some dodges.
Even 2+ dodges fail if you try too many.

Why take block? This guy doesn't need it, if he's getting hit a lot you've screwed up.

I think you have 2 options.

Horns or skip for leap immediately. Depends somewhat on what your other gutters look like, but he should be getting spp easily so you can add sure hands (if he's your retreiver) or wrestle (if he's your sacker) pretty quickly anyway. You can also go horns/wrestle/leap as a progression.

Or leap/surehands/block.

I'd do the horns/wrestle build myself, if I didn't already have a sacker.

I'd take Wrestle too to build a sacker (that should have priority if you don't have one, because Skaven don't lack ball carriers, while they really need a sacker).
Block is better if the Gutter Runner is used as ball carrier because some teams with Stunty players or leapers can blitz him even if screened, Block makes knocking him down a bit harder and doesn't put him down if he rolls Both Down while blitzing.

Isn't there a great horns vs dauntless debate?

There used to be, but we hunted all the deviant dauntless believers and slaughtered them. And their children. Now only Horns followers remain.

Horns for me.

Does horns apply before dauntless is rolled or after?

Horns is applied before Dauntless is rolled, so if a Gutter Runner with Horns and Dauntless blitzes a ST 3 opponent Dauntless will not be used.
