Two things come up for me again and again, so if I get answers here, I'll add them to a personal notes page, honest.
#1 What do you type when you want to display the code in a post, so that the code is not actioned, but is revealed for someone else to cut and paste? I can never remember if its "BBode" or simply "code" between the brackets. If there is more than one way, could I have them all, as I assume they look slightly differently.
#2 Is there something you can type when you are working on a massive bio page, that will allow you to enter text THAT DOES NOT APPEAR in the bio, when the code is actioned? I would like to organize the code and make it understandable for others editing it, but having titled sections which are IGNORED when the code is actually displayed.
For Example, I would like to have:
Blagh, blagh, blagh, Human teams rule, I love myself, Piling on Sucked, Blagh, blagh, blagh.\

\
###Next Section Is For Images of Heros###\
\
\
\
Jimmy No Feet, Gary Garth, Polly 'Purple Panties' Parsons, Zed 'Not Quite Dead' Spyderson, Timmy!\

###Next Section Is for Logos###/

etc.. etc..
In the above example the triple hash tag is the feature I hope exists. Is there such a thing?

1. Both [bbcode] and [code] work, or sometimes only one of them do depending on where you're posting the code.
2. use the [hidden] tag? |

Thanks for answering both questions. The hidden tag as displayed above does in fact work like a charm in a proper NOTE page, as does the BBcode tag. I know forum posts have only limited bbcode options.
What I simply failed to realize is that guys are probably just typing the word code themselves, before the actual code tag, and I mistakenly thought the tag did it automatically.
Some guys make it look so slick.. Cheers. |
