I apologise in advance for whatever thing I get wrong in this whole process.

I'm a bit sad about apo, I expect in the not too distant future I'm going to want to get my extra 50k worth of skilled players through the bottleneck, and rebuy the apo after game 1. I'm not sure I'd even have bought one yet if I knew about that.

It also occurs to me that it's optimal to sack-and-replace at the very least all of the 0spp players, which is fine from a development perspective but it does put a strain on naming schemes.

Looking forward to it all nonetheless.

I dont think anyones going to begrudge you for sacking player A on 0SSP and rehiring player A with the exact same name in the same position

I know thats my plan anyway i will only add II,III etc if they die or i retire them midseason
The stink bits going to be looking in the past players box and seeing mostly able bodied players 😂

The difference here though, is that your fluff is made to support that kind of thing.

Just a head's up that I won't be nominating for Season LXXII, purely because I'll be out of circulation for close on three weeks between late June and mid July while on a family vacation in Japan. As it stands right now, I am intending to reactivate in Season LXXIII, but haven't worked out whether it will be with the tattered remnants of the Kroakland Raiders, or with a completely new team of some description.

We got a parking PM to swladmin from oozeboss too, anyone else looking to park, PM swladmin.

The draft for S72 is Monday evening, 21st, about 8pm SWL.

If you're looking to join up or return after some absence, or redraft as the case may be, we're a Sydney timezone league, you'll be popping in with the lowest performing teams and any other new ones down in the Regional division.

The post-season team refresh is on the way, should be sorted by Wednesday 23rd, please make sure you've picked any skills by then, and as a reminder don't ready your team after game 7.

Season 71 has been a great success, I must say, 100% of games played so far, lots of keen coaches, plenty of banter in the #swl discord about who's a filthy lucker and who's the best Khemri coach ever. Oh, wait, Relezite's playing Undead, never mind.

--

No guarantees for the Draft of course, Daudy ended up with Norse and cdwat got his funny looking Dorfs, we are fairly balanced already with about 12 Rock, 13 Paper, and 13 and a half Scissor teams, plus one Dynamite, hanging around so far, so who knows what anyone will get in the draft.

Chorfs, Helfs, Necro, Norse, Nurgs, Orcs, and maybe Rats look like they're full up. Draft results here, tomorrow evening. Smile

Question: Is there a plan in case playoffs are needed this season? May have a few teams finish 2nd with 24 points

As we approach the end of season one, an announcement on the All Stars:
In lieu of having Regional, Conference and Premier rep teams, the selection committee will select up to 6 players from each conference to create an All Stars shortlist of 30 players.
From this shortlist, a single All Star team of 11 will be selected.

S72 Draft results.

Grod gets Dwarfs.
Klazam gets Amazons.

Create your teams from the link on the top right of the SWL group, gentlemen.

2nd Draft rosters available: Chaos, Goblin, Halfling, Khemri, Ogre, or Vampire.

SWL LXXI Round 7 Axing

All unplayed games extension due to technical difficulties (ie got my axe stuck in a snotling)

Carry on. Normal axing shall resume shortly.

Remember don't ready teams until told to do so.

NEswlFLASH!!!!

Stunty Wastes League will be relaunching 28th May!!!!

Please visit this page:

https://fumbbl.com/p/group&group=10406&op=view

To see rules, which teams you’re able to nominate for (affiliated with your current SWL side). Please send through your top two nominations via pm Karnov or let me know via discord message.

PLEASE NOTE: apparently there is a bug issue with the Tzeench, Gnome and Goblin cheaters rosters and thejr bomb-throwing ability - a workaround of only allowing one bomb thrown per-turn has been suggested; please be aware of this and a when making your team selections.

Cheers all
