It's actually kind of funny how the player composition changes of the college league will impact the pro league, just like in the NCAA NFL. It's kind of exciting, kind of scary, but interesting no matter the outcome.

Here comes the next handful of talents from the NCBB, eager to die, äh, play in the NBFL (beware, its not an empty joke, first week always sees some painful draftee deaths. Heck, they even die in builders sometimes Very Happy ).

#6 Jordan Gross, ROLLA: AG+, accurate, D, strong arm, 59 spp. Skilled.
https://fumbbl.com/p/player?op=view&player_id=11189072
Anyone who wants a bll handler and got Cole Brownholtz snatched away right under his nose, don’t worry. Jordan Gross can do anything, Cole does, and he is even a bit more versatile and has a little bit higher survivability and escape ability, thanks to the dodge skill.

#7 SayOw! Jr., KARAK: MB, G, AG+, sure hands, 51 spp. Blitzer.
https://fumbbl.com/p/player?op=view&player_id=11574787
Despite his high agility this rare player focussed most of his carreer on injuring oponents - as he should! As much as i hate my declared rivals, i have to admit: This player seems to be ready for whatever roll he will get in the NBFL. Although, he might most likely end up becoming an ELVEN BLITZER, just to hate himself until he dies (probably by his own hands or a rock), bwahahaaa...

#8 Kamryn Bennett, CAL: MB, B, G, stand firm, 60 spp. Strength, Blitzer.
https://fumbbl.com/p/player?op=view&player_id=11363979
The only other 4-skilled strength-graduate in the draft may be picked pretty early. He got injured in the NCBB, but got all the way to graduation. Let me tell you, this seems to be a tough one.

#9 Miguel Benedetti, UNAM: B, MB, G, 46 spp. Strength.
https://fumbbl.com/p/player?op=view&player_id=11598219
Doesn't seem to be the obvious joice for a top 10 pick, but hey, at this point it will be the best blocker out there and he will get the next skill after mvp or smashing 3 oponents - and in college i can tell you, he smashes quite nicely. Getting to define his next skill soon may even make a coach consider to draft him before Kamryn Bennett - more so, if a claw-searching coach is on the clock.

#10 A'Bort Hardeagle, NOTRE DAME: +Str., blodge, 43 spp. Line.
https://fumbbl.com/p/player?op=view&player_id=10149736
Most teams would be glad to get a +str. blodging lino, only question is: At what point of the draft will a coach get to pick, who is already satisfied with all positionals on his roster (or is willing to build one himself in order to get this blodge-freak)? Depending on that, he could even get picked earlier. Personally i am so glad, those stat freaks left Notre Dame. He and "THE EVIL" were a true pain in the ass.

I know that as UNAM-coach and as an NBFL-coach that relies on developed blockers, i am totally biased! Obviously i focus more on those blockers, specially UNAM’s reliable twin towers. So, who did i miss out? Who should be top 10?

I would love A'bort as a beastman as I'm sure you would Meno. but he will never make it outside the top 10 I'm sure

Of course, robocoyote! Glancing over the list of prospects, this A'Bort was the first i started hoping he would slide down all the way until i am on the clock... but then i saw the rest and i had to put him top 10 Razz

So, if my team stays healthy, i might go for a healthy warrior or for a beastman with something special. But thats a big IF, because its playoffs! And not all games go like your pillowfight, robo and JR! Razz

Ok, and it was true. My team is fine. But eliminated. Razz

So, i join the ranks of the coaches, who are taking a closer look at those draft prospects (and i won't ever jinx my playoffs by writing about the draft again. EVER.)

You may think only the first 10 picks will be worth it, but no! There are tons of talent left in this years graduates from the NCBB!
Here come my prospects #11-20:

#11 King Vortigern, RUTGERS: W, [Skill], [6+6], 32 spp. Line.
https://fumbbl.com/p/player?op=view&player_id=9751075
Last time he showed up in a draft, he was overlooked. Filled up with anger he went to the Crossfit and trained harder than anybody, 24/7, until this draft. Results are obvious and he won’t be overlooked this time, i promise.

#12 Randall Cor, OREGON: MA+, MB, W, G, 63 spp. Skilled.
https://fumbbl.com/p/player?player_id=11656059
I can already see all elven coaches salivate in fantasies with this player... quite some doubles and stats for an elf going on here. Also not very far from next skill up.

#13 Semisi Uluave, CAL: B, T, DT, 39 spp. Blitzer/Strength.
https://fumbbl.com/p/player?op=view&player_id=11591252
Any team in need of a nice blocker, Semisi will be the best man for the job still left at this point. H comes with a nice double, diving tackle, and is almost halfway to next skill up.

#14 Chavo Beardback, BOSTON: SH, fend, Pro, [6+5], 59 spp. Line.
https://fumbbl.com/p/player?op=view&player_id=10410786
Giving him the AG+ with his [6+5] is the obvious joice. Somebody looking for capable linemen, able to substitute a hurt thrower, dodge around, take a defensive roll as ball recovery-dude, simply, somebody who can do it all? Chavo Beardback is your man.

#15 Aaron Kia, HAWAII: B, D, DP, [skill], 53 spp. Line.
I sent my scouts investigating, but they came back with empty hands. Where does Aaron Kia come from, where did he play, what position? Whoever trained him, some NBFL coach will thank him: its a blodging lineman, with the almighty dirty player skill AND you may customize him, teaching him any normal skill you like: tackle, fend, dauntless... or for elven folks: sidestep, fend, SNEAKY GIT? Smile

My 3 linemen picks might surprise some of you, for sure. But i got an eye for talent, you know. Some kids have what it takes to play in the NBFL, others don't. You may go for a fancy pick, some "skilled" player, and soon discover that they may loose their "s" and you stand before your "killed" draftpick. Razz

#16 Freddie Keiaho, SLAM DIEGO: MB, G, AG+, SH, 51 spp. Blitzer.
https://fumbbl.com/p/player?op=view&player_id=11127914
Coach didn’t retire this player despite of his broken hip. Dragged him until graduation. That’s some heart warming stuff. Now cured by Mazdamundi Lombardi, he is ready to go, capable of anything, if the drafting coach is wisse enough to draft him for the correct position...

#17 Herman Edwards, SLAM DIEGO: B, Daunt, Pro, [6+5], 53 spp. Line.
https://fumbbl.com/p/player?op=view&player_id=9606406
Another case from SLAM DIEGO that makes you believe in humanity again: Despite of his str.2, coach JR dragged this player through until graduation. Last draft he was overlooked, but this player got more agile ever since and is in perfect shape right now.

#18 Justin Hardee, ILLINOIS: B, Leader, Strip, KOR, 69 spp. Skilled.
https://fumbbl.com/p/player?op=view&player_id=11077132
Some late picking coach still looking for a ball handler, will find a perfect oportunity in Justin. Even more attractive if taking into account that he needs only 7 more spp to get another level up.

#19 Christian Wildcat, CLEMSON: G, BT, SF, 49 spp. Strength/Big.
https://fumbbl.com/p/player?op=view&player_id=10753689
I don’t know what this Christian-thing is about in Clemson. I suggest an independent investigation. Let’s find out if it’s about clones or about a 50-shades fan club... However, this player needs only 2 spp for the next level up. So, you get him as a blocker, and get him block. Ready!

#20 Catalina Eddy, SLAM DIEGO: DP, MA+, B, [skill], 53 spp. Line.
https://fumbbl.com/p/player?op=view&player_id=9565789
This seems like a fun pick for me – SSSHHHHHTTTT - but Catalina would have to slide down quite some spots. A goat ähm, a player ready to rock the LOS in the NBFL: block, dirty player, and whatever skill you would like to give her. An elven team can convert this into a blodger, for example.

Quite some players from Slam Diego there. Shows that sometimes its worth to drag some injured players til graduation. So, you think that’s it, anything picked later will be line fodder? Well, every player may end up as line fodder, but no, there are quite some young players with high potential left on the draft board!
