They're much better than zombies vs. agile teams, especially when caging
(can't be pushed back / can't be surfed when cage is close to sideline) and
it makes dodging much harder for the other team (trap their players / they can't
just push a fg away to save dodge rolls / etc.) Don't mark the woodie-tree with a fg.
Use a zombie if needed. And I agree with mister joshua: Your team needs guard on
the fgs and tackle + mb on the wights. Block+Guard+SF = synergy.

Remember, its tabletop and the mvp is a D20 so not the fummbl way (what would be better imo!) and thats why i went with guard on the wights becaus the golems would take to long to skill-up. Otherwise i would have gone with the skills you say for wights/golems. And indeed, the golems are good on defense Smile i would defently always start with 2

Damn, just found out that indeed the wood elf team passed thru too the semi finals so he will be my matchup after amazons.
He has a crazy team!
1tree +ma
2dancers 1:+ag +stripball. 2:+mightyblow,tackle
1catcher:+nevers of steel and another skill he can choose
7line elfs. (Some dodge,and 1kick and 1leader)

Gonna be a heavy crazy match against those guys!
Hope i will get some good stuff from my game vs the zons.

Having a sure hands ghoul and a couple of Guards certainly help against their leaping antics. Though a tackler would come in handy.

I so miss the old Stand Firm.

No one would be asking this question if we had the old Stand firm and the Flesh Golems could dodge with no fear of failure.

Finished my amazon game today and i won!
Was very fun and cool match. I won during half 3 with a golden goal while defending.
So now my next matchup is vs the wood elf player!
He got the
+mv three
+ag ,stripball dancer
Mighty blow,tackle dancer
Nevres of steel, block and other skill(probably fend) catcher.

Crazy team!
My team changed allot after my amazon match-up.
My +ag,surehands ghoul was killed by a wizard!!!
But the rookie wolf did lvl up! And i rolled an 12!!! BOEM Very Happy
So question is,what skills and inducements do i take vs the elves during the semifinals!

My team
2 flesh golems 1with block
1ghoul
1wight +guard
1wight + guard and a skill to choose(normal so tackle or mighty blow?)
1wolf +tackle,wrestle
1wolf +skill to choose (12!)
1 zombie dirty player
4 zombies

Sooooo
What do i give the wight and the wolf
(Keep in mind, only 1more game after the wood elf game and the team resets)
And inducements? ( i got 220k to spend the way my team is now)

+st?
+mighty blow?
Wizard?
Or
A chainsaw maybe?

I'd +ST, a risk without block, but should give you two 2dice shots at whatever you're hitting.
Inducements, I'd be tempted with chainsaw. If nothing else, it will help either as deterrant to the Wardancer leap blitz on a ballcarrier, or in actually carving the bold(/foolish) Wardancer up, should it leap into the cage Smile

Edit: ST4 wolf could also carry the ball on offence, again making it tougher for the Wardancer nonsense

Edit2: I'd probably lean towards tackle for the Wight. Shame he doesn't have MB already, but will be useful for getting players on the floor (and you can always foul away from there Smile)

It's a shame you lost the surehands Ghoul, he would have been valuable vs the woodies.

I'd go +Str on the Wolf even for 1 game. Str4 Wolves are great for surfing. I'd take Mb on the Wight cos you have none and elves hate it.

A str 4 Wolf is amazing. If you can still afford a wizard, take it- they can ruin a drive by themselves for the woodies.

K, so st+ on the wolf is sure!
Now only gonna decide on tackle or mighty blow on the wight and the inducements. Chainsaw or wizard probably depending on the tv difference.

The loss of a sure hands ag4 ghoul is a big hit. But a S4 Wolf will came in very handy against a S3 team.
Mighty Blow is a fair option as you have a tackler. Depends somewhat if the last potential team also have a lot of Dodge.
A 13th player zombie isn't a bad idea either. And do you have more than 2 rrs?
