If a vamp with MB bites a thrall, does the MB modifier get added? I always thought it did, but I am not 100% sure. A second, sort of related question, if a ball and chain hits a teammate, MB is applied there as well, right?

You never have to use a skill, if you don't want to, so both times MB shouldn't be used.

You can always choose if you want to use a skill or not, however on fumbbl some skills are applied automatically.

I don’t think I have ever seen MB applied for a vampire bite but with the ball and chain it might be coded to be added to all hits, including your own players.

Where you will see something similar is dodge is applied automatically most of the time unless you are near a sideline or in a big scrum. Again in table top you could choose not to use it but it would be rare.

Mighty blow only applies when making a block action

"Add 1 to any Armour or Injury roll made by a player with this skill when an opponent is Knocked Down by this player during a block."

No and you can't even decide to use it, because Blood Lust bite is not a block.

By rules, you are not forced to use MB, it's an optional skill.

Obligatory note: You of course want to use Mighty Blow on your own player as soon as you pow your thick skulled goblin with your ball&chain, break armor without modifier and roll a 7 on injury. We've all been there.

The worst injury a player can receive from Blood Lust is badly hurt btw.

If a ball and chain hit on your own player employs Mighty Blow, it might be worthwhile adding this as a bug report.

For hitting opposition players a "Do you wish to use mighty blow?" pop up would be unnecessary and hellishly annoying.
