Been a long time out in the cold for the Rodents... 68x Seasons in fact, from s15.
Hell of a close campaign in Prem this season. And looks set to continue for the foreseeable.

One of the tightest prem seasons i've ever seen, with most last round games counting towards titles and relegation.

Also, if our players exodus, can we late draft after rebuys are announced?

I have barely (possibly not at all) played Norse before. I need some Norse tips from former SWL masters! Do I just aim to surf all my opponents? Have a deep bench and foul every turn? Is the Yetti a must have or a must avoid? Any point to having a thrower? Lots of 1 dice blocks? So many options! So much potential! |

Taken from the current Blackwater playbook...
Norse have 9 positionals available.
-A norse team has room for 5 or 6 at most. Consider your play style. Is an Ulfwerener with Block and Guard worth 3 linemen (who start with Block)?
Their numbers are crap, It's all about the build.
-At AG3, they're passing game isn't a Plan B, it's a plan F at best. They are AV7, they will get maimed and die. They will have games were they just don't have the players on the pitch to be in it.
Norse linemen are fantastic.
-At 50k and block, they are the best pound for pound lineman in the game. If it's cheap to get a player advantage, take it.
Guard is a Dwarf skill. Guard is an Orc skill.
-Making you players stand next to opponents will see the lifespan shorten quickly. Friends don't let Friends stand next to Trolls. Guard for the Ulfs and Big Guy only.
The big fella is nice, but...
-Only take him if you have room - but you do sacrifice alot to take him. I'd take him in DIBBL in a second as he is amazing against bash teams, but in SWL I just don't think there is room in the roster.
Throwers suck.
-AG3 and no sure hands, makes him the weakest thrower in the game. Maybe take one as a leader caddy. It's a 40k reroll.
Runners are OK but you probably only need 1.
-They can run (+MA), bash uphill (dauntless), and be a pest (access to DT/SS). They look like they can do it all, but in reality they do one of those things well. If they try to do all 3 they just get bland. Dodge+Sure Hands. Tackle+Wrestle. DT+SS. There a many paths.
Ulfs are great.
-Yeah Ulfs are great.
Beserkers are risky.
-at 90k they are a massive investment. You can probably only afford 1. If you take 2, not only will you be broke, but they will take SPP away from the Ulfs.
Foul for value, and get a dedicated DP.
-The +1 DP makes it value. If it's the opponents star, foul with the DP. If your opponent is shorthanded, foul with the DP. If not, you're just giving up players that can't afford to. You guys come off the pitch pretty easy. So a send off followed by 2 KOs swings a game.
I'm not going to comment on Frenzy, because clearly that is a theme to my team. Does my play style suit Frenzy, or does the Frenzy define my playstyle? People have differing opinions, but playing them this may makes people think more than they usually do. |

Nope, still one Underworld roster getting around.
Yes, the ETA is soon. Hopefully by this weekend. All ready to rock and roll, hopefully there's no issues.
Yes you can go through the second round draft, though as you know racial availability is limited. |

Just do it PeteW style. Get a Snow Troll with Claw and Mighty Blow and hit things every turn with it until the opponents team is gone. |

There is some awesome stuff here, thanks! Particularly that I should be satisfied with just a few of the positionals, not all of em. Also fouling game is better once I have a bench. |

Big thanks to mushoomy and MrCushtie for all their content over the last season.
Definitely recommend throwing a fantasy team together - I did mine in 20 mins and it's good fun to have something to check back against (and ensure you're beating MiyusoBot) |
