Kevin was in the original line-up...... Got +ST off the bat, and didn't miss a game until he'd played 41 in a row. At time of death, he was 6th on the Active, Ranked, Human Throwers for TDS, and 3rd for CAS. Post-Humously, he remains 6th all-time, all division for CAS on the Human Throwers top ten. He threw, blocked and ran as necessary and surprised and thrilled opponents and fans alike. It has taken me a long time to post this, as the hurt was too fresh. Good bye, Kevin.... We will never see your like again.

My greatest player, spp wise was Silent Bob, he used to be pretty high in the total spp and TDs scored list back in his days.

But I guess the most fun GR I used to have was still Hambus, he really could get the ball away from the opponent pretty easily, no one on the field was safe with the ball, too bad rolling all those doubles prevented him from getting block skill, is what got him in the end Smile

Goodbye Blue Bomber
Though I never knew you at all
You had the grace to hold yourself
While those around you crawled
They crawled out of the bloody pitch
And they whispered into your brain
They set you on the bench
And blocked the crap out of Elves

And it seems to me you lived your life
Like Kevin O' the Glen
Never knowing who to cling to
When the rain set in
And I would have liked to have known you
But I was just a kid
And Kevin burned out long before
His legend ever did

Loneliness was tough
The toughest role you ever played
Blood Bowl created a superstar
And pain was the price you paid
Even when you died
Oh the Grotty Little Newspaper still hounded you
All the GLN had to say
Was that Kevin was found
piss drunk and vomiting by the bench
and he'd lost his hemet

Goodbye Blue Bomber
From the young man in the 22nd row
Who sees you as something as more than just a blitzer
More than just our Kevin

And it seems to me you lived your life
Like Kevin O' the Glen
Never knowing who to cling to
When the rain set in
And I would have liked to have known you
But I was just a kid
And Kevin burned out long before
His legend ever did

My greatest player ever was Stefano.
Best player ever for the Hellfishes, indeed as perfect as a human blitzer can get.
Retired because of the ageing roll at 176 spps, which made him a niggled legend.

#5 Human Top Blocker of all times and all divisions (50 casualties)
#10 Human Top Star of all times and all divisions (181 spps)

I would be so lucky to have a human thrower last as long and be as good as the one you lost, Macavity. May you somehow replace the gaping hole he has left with something better.
