Hi
As I saw the new rosters, I noticed that a few new positions were added. Assassins, Runners among others. Does anyone know if GW will manufacture new miniatures, or do one need to start converting?

I'm sure they will make new miniatures because that is how they make their money. |

there are 2 Secret Weapon BB DE minis you can use for your assassins, and just use your throwers for your runners |

This is true for WHFB, W40K and LoTR, but sadly not for BB.
As far as I know, GW plans to do 2 releases each year in the sprecialist games range (which BB is part of). And right now Warmaster has it´s release, I don´t know about the second release for 2007, it might be a new BB box, there have been rumours about it.
But don´t count on GW to make all new minis for the new positionals available in LRB5. |

Don't worry guys. If GW doesn't make the minis some of the other companies will. Just as they have done for the snow troll. |

True, but that wasn´t my point.
I bought the Wicked Elves from Shadowforge myself as a DE tabletop team.
Too bad I won´t be allowed to play any of my non GW teams in an official GW tournament (Blood Bowl, Dungeon Bowl, Chaos Cup or Mithril Spike ...) |

Voila, GW BB assassins.
There is also a rather nice alternative runner model available at Impact! if you don't want to use the existing thrower as a runner. |

Im saying the Snow troll is great, not only because Ewan is a great guy and more Fantasy Football minis is a good thing and buying minis supports more releases in future, but its a great fun mini to paint, is just the right size for a big guy and fits in with the rest of the Norse team! |
