For all you Blood Bowl and XFL fans out there, here comes the clash of the season. The crème de la crème, best of the best. Thursday evening will be a day to remember as the XFL masters final is set to be played.
The Final will feature two tough teams who have proved that they are not only the best teams in their respective race but also better than all the other races.
The XFL final will be a battle of epic proportions between coach PeteW´s Sanguine Savants and coach Qaz´s
Six Hooves Under.
Needless to say there is hate and bad blood between these two teams. Although they have never squared off on the pitch before. Elf’s and Dwarfs are not known for their love for each other. This is not less true when you have their cold hearted and evil counter parts dark elf’s and chaos dwarfs.
Sanguine Savants
A team known for their cunning and evil play. These merciless dark elf’s will stop at nothing to win a game, often employing underhand tactics such as kicking downed opponents and pushing opponents off the pitch. That said they are also known for their agile game dodging away to form a mobile cage to protect the ball.
Look for them to single out players, knock them down with a lightening fast blitz, watch as every elf gather around, all in the hope of getting the last stomp in on the poor opposing player.
Sanguine Savants did not have an easy way to the final, first squaring off in a score fest vs. the famous skaven team Rotten Flesh Is Our Ecstasy in what became a close fought match. Next game went easier for the elfs and they managed to escape the claws of SlaughterHouse5000 with only minor scratches. The Semi final was a bitter victory over rival high elfs Krautrock. Both teams displayed total disregard for life in an elven foul fest. All in all it has been an expensive path to the final for the Savants loosing nothing less than four players.
Sanguine comes with an impressive résumé. A total of 65 games played and winning the following tournaments: Amethyst Lantern Light Ulthuan II Qualifier, Ulthuan Invitational II and XFL Dark Elfs.
Six Hooves Under
These short bearded brutes are no strangers to the pitch with over 100 games played. They are known for their slow, unstoppable grind down the field, while brutalizing everything the opponent throws at them. When close enough they unleash one of the terrifying bull centaurs to make a blitz for the winning touch down. These chaos dwarfs like to stay close together to help each other bash the opposition into the ground and then let the sneaky hobgoblins move in with their metal studded boots to finish off what little life is left by the trampling mob of dwarfs. Look for the speed and strength of the terrifying bull centaurs.
Six Hoves Under´s way to the final went through tough bashing teams like the khemri Scarab Beatles and the nurgle rotters team That stinks! In the semi final they demolished the pro elf team Eltharian's Hearts. This victory was dearly bought as Six Hoves Under's team captain and super star bull centaur Ronald Reagan was injured and subsequently retired from active play. This was a hard blow for the team before the final.
Six Hooves Under comes with 115 games played and holds wins in Fumbbl Smack Elite XI and in the XFL Chaos Dwarfs.
So fans. On Thursday you can look forward to a classic game of Dwarfs vs. Elfs, Bashing vs. Scoring, Brutes vs. Maniacs. You can expect to see the best that Blood Bowl can offer from the best of teams.

Nice report I like to have Fluff on Cups like that. Sadly I lost the semi (which of course was only bad luck and cheating etc.  . I hope it will be a bloody match in the end, both teams deserve the victory, both are really good coaches and nice people. |
