A strange fascination has taken hold of the populace of Har Ganeth. Bloodbowl is the new rage in the City of Executioners and teams are forming now. What better way to take out our frustrations than by brutalizing the lesser races upon the pitch?

And what better way to meet those other races than by having your Dark Elf team join the E.L.F.!?! Season XII will kick off in February and the ‘cycle of races’- where we feature special challenges for a different elf race each season - will begin anew.

With the ability to now create up to 30 ranked teams instead of the old 5 limit, this is a great time to start that Dark Elf team you’ve been thinking about. Or, maybe you’re looking for a new challenge for that old team. Are you one of those people that enjoy having goals to work toward? Well, we’ve got your goals right here!

Special honors will be conferred upon those Dark Elf teams proving worthy:

ImageOriour - signifying blood - awarded to the Dark Elf team scoring the most casualty points in E.L.F. scored games (whether winning anything else or not). Please note this is a “points” challenge, so a dead Dwarf (Category A) counts as 4 points while a dead Skaven (four other Categories) is scored as 2 points.

ImageThalui - signifying hatred - awarded to ANY Dark Elf team that completes the cycle (plays 2 different races in each of the 5 categories).

ImageElthrai - signifying doom - one available per category to a Dark Elf team that wins that E.L.F. category.

ImageUrithair - signifying destruction - conferred upon any Dark Elf team that wins the overall E.L.F. title.

Dark Elven teams meeting any of these challenges will become the standard bearers of these corrupted High Elven runes and have their names forever enshrined on the E.L.F. group page.

The E.L.F.’s old nemesis, the E.M.U., is back in the form of the EMU "Back to the Roots" and they are looking to collect elf skulls! We both offer bonus points for playing against one another in what is shaping up to be a great rivalry.

And another source of bonus points we’re trying out this season is for playing in FUMBBL Official Tournaments. SMACKs will probably have the widest participation, but if you choose to play for the greater glory of the E.L.F. in a Major we’ll be cheering you on!

Elves of all colors/races are welcome and encouraged to join (This whole "Dark Elf thing" is just a clever marketing ploy) - be they unblemished TR100 or grizzled veterans of +250TR. Most teams play in Ranked where matches are easier to find, but teams playing in Unranked and Faction are welcome also! Each season lasts for about two months and coaches can play as few or as many games as they choose - you can even replay any matchup until you "get it right!"

Season XII will kick off on February 1st at 12:01am (bbtime) and ends promptly at Midnight on April 7th!

What "30- team allowance"? I see 126 (130 - 4 "filler") teams on the home page roster, (and that's gotta be more than 30 each race somewhere!)
