Not till Saturday … and it's not really a holiday: though I'll try as hard as possible to treat it like one!

As I’ve stated before in some other threads I support making TTL optional except for the official tournaments. In non-tournament play if two coaches play a FUMBBL game and they have TTL selected the game would be played with that condition, otherwise it would not have the TTL rule.

I think this avenue would be less time-consuming for Skijunkie and Christer. Those coaches who like Ranked and are concerned over missing a turn due to distractions outside the game still could find opponents to play.

Excluding this, I would support what Gebannus suggested in this thread. Not sure if this is what Christer proposed in option one.

In my opinion option 2 is open to easy exploitation and option 3 defeats the purpose of the TTL- to move the game along and force coaches to make decisions in a reasonable time-frame.

wheres the option to turn off timelimit?

I play mostly for fun and have the kids always running around, so an enforced time limit sux. My wife hates it too.

EDIT: tonight in a match I spotted a bug, Pass block seemed to stop the clock, but after my opponent finished his slow pass block move and my pass was completed the clock jumped forward past 4 minutes and my turn was lost!

I'd like to see the turn limit as optional. I fully understand how frustrating it is when someone is very very slow, but then sometimes people want more relaxed games.

Am I missing something, or is option 3 exactly how the turn limit issue is handled at the moment? I like it the way it is now, it´s easy and gives you some time for RL emergencies

I would like to have a pause button that only the player that not moving can turn on. That way people could agree on a pause if something turned up or was known in advanced. Combine it with option 3 but not as much as 15 min.

The pause button is clearly the best solution. On the other hand "If it aint broke then don't BigMac it"
