ROUND 1 NEWS:
It appears we have lost a team in the South division already, with Time to Die dropping out. No word yet on when it will be replaced.
Best wins of the round so far are Krell's Killers and Heaven's Gate Wanderers. Best casualty rate is SF All-Stars with 6 to 0 against Ghetto Death Funk. |

Lasher has another day or so to play his round 1 match, then you have another week to play your round 2 match against him, Acheron_Styx. The_Legend said unplayed matches would be randomly conceded, although I'm sure if you PM then something could be arranged. Bowlbot tells me he was last online 3 days ago, so here's hoping for your sake. |

Games are still being played, but there are several team dropouts. I've had a word with The_Legend about it, and made some suggestions, but we await a ruling. |

Bretter as far as i can tell, noone has left the tournament yet, however there isn't any progress being made either. There are some teams that still haven't played their week 1 match, and we should be on week 4 now. oh well |

I am disappointed that a game has been played out of sequence, thus ruining some of the balance of the competition. Children of Death played Ancient Anguish in a round 3 match BEFORE Ancient Anguish had played its round 2 match against Spooky Spooky. Of course, CoD spanked AA, partly because it had more money and SPPs from its 2 games than AA had got in its one game, and thus CoD had more skills and players.
This is the sort of thing that the FUMBBL tournament software prevents if you do it right - unfortunately The_Legend chose to devise a fixture offline and just hope that coaches wouldn't play out of sequence like this. This sort of thing is a killer for tournaments... not to mention the fact that The_Legend hasn't done anything about the league's other problems. |

I don't care really about if a team has played one game more or less, just as long as I get to play games. Alibaba, coach of Spooky Spooky hasn't turned up for 9-10 days now, and I got tired of waiting for him. If a coach doesn't turn up, then I will simply play the next game. And regarding my game against CoD, it wasn't entirely true. I had some bad luck, while CoD didn't.
Furthermore, the killer of tournaments isn't, in my opinion, when teams play out of sequence, but rather when coaches don't turn up, forcing a lot of people to wait. |

I had not expected to play Brother Marius. The game happened due to both players wanting to play the league games. As far as having an advantage the game came down to better luck and my team making regen rolls to stop 2 SI nigling injuries from hurting the team.
I like the league but want to play games on a more consistant basis. Anything happening with the games that are behind schedule?

Nothing is happening Oni, because The_Legend hasn't been here for more than four days, and in the week preceding that he/she did nothing as well. It's becoming rather frustrating. |
